What is Juit?

We want to help people to eat better and live a healthier life, even if they don't have the time to cook for themselves every day. That’s why our chefs and nutrition experts develop healthy dishes and cook them for you by hand - using only the best ingredients and no additives. Then we freeze our dishes straight away to preserve their taste and vitamins. So you always have a healthy and delicious meal ready to hand. Healthy eating made easy!

How does Juit work?

Choose a box size (6, 8, 10 or 12 dishes) and add your favorites from over 40 different dishes. Then select your delivery address and a delivery date and pay conveniently online. Our dishes are flash frozen and delivered to you on the selected date.

Where is Juit available?

You already know us from Berlin or Hamburg? New: We now also deliver all over Germany. Like really everywhere.

Our dishes

How are Juit dishes cooked?

When cooking, we only use natural ingredients from selected suppliers - no artificial flavours, preservatives, flavour enhancers or other additives. We only process high-quality oils such as olive or rapeseed oil. And not a single substance with an E number. Our cooks don't need that at all. Slicing, stewing, roasting - just like at home, only with larger pots and pans.

Where do your ingredients come from?

We only use the best ingredients from selected suppliers. Here you can find out more about our suppliers.

Do you use additives?

No. We don't use any additives, never. Learn more about it here how we cook.

I have an allergy, can I still order from you?

Each of our dishes has a note on allergens in the list of ingredients. You can find more information at our dishes on the detail page of each dish.

Why are you freezing the dishes?

In order to preserve the taste and vitamins in the best possible way and to be able to work completely free of additives and preservatives. After cooking at -45°C, we cool all dishes to below -18°C within a few minutes. In this way, particularly small ice crystals form and the cell structure of the ingredients is protected. The taste and nutrients of our fresh ingredients are optimally preserved.

Do you have vegetarian or vegan dishes?

Yes, we have a lot of vegetarian and vegan dishes. You can find them under our dishes.

Who can I contact if there is a problem with a dish?

Your well-being and the high quality of our dishes are extremely important to us. If you are not satisfied, you can contact us at any time. By phone on +49 30 311 77 111 (weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) or write us.

Storage

How many Juit dishes can I store in my freezer?

Exactly six of our dishes fit in a standard *** freezer compartment of a small refrigerator. Our dishes have the following dimensions: 23 x 19.5 x 4 cm (width x length x height).

What is the storage life of the dishes in the freezer?

If stored at -18°C (*** compartment or freezer), the dishes will have a storage life, as indicated by the best before date on the packaging.

Can I also keep the dishes in the refrigerator?

Yes, of course, you can store the dishes unopened in the refrigerator (approx. 3-7 ° C) for 4-5 days. When thawed, the following preparation instructions apply:

In the microwave: Dish with closed foil (pierce once) and heat for 4-5 minutes at 800 watts. Then let it rest for 1 minute.

In the oven: Heat the dish with the foil closed (do not pierce) in a preheated oven (fan oven 150°C for 20-25 minutes, top and bottom heat for 25-30 minutes).

Note: heat the product through before consumption! Do not refreeze after defrosting. The preparation times are guidelines and may vary depending on the type of appliance and the appliance's performance.

Preparation

How do I prepare my dishes (frozen)?

In the microwave: Heat the bowl with closed foil (pierce once) for approx. 8 minutes at 800 watts. Then let it rest for 1 minute.

In the oven: Heat the dish with the foil closed (do not pierce) in the preheated oven (fan oven 150°C for 40 minutes, top and bottom heat for 45 minutes). To shorten dish preparation time consider defrosting your dish and see "How do I prepare my dishes (defrosted)?" for detailed instructions.

How do I prepare my dishes (defrosted)?

You can also prepare all dishes defrosted. The preparation time is reduced accordingly. 

In the microwave: Dish with closed foil (piercing it 1x) and heat for 4-5 minutes at 800 watts. Then let it rest for 1 minute.

In the oven: Heat the dish with the foil closed (without piercing it) in a preheated oven (fan oven 150°C for 20-25 minutes, top and bottom heat for 25-30 minutes).

Note: heat the product through before consumption! Do not refreeze after defrosting. The preparation times are guidelines and may vary depending on the type of appliance and the appliance's performance.

Are your dish trays microwave and oven safe?

Yes, the bowls and the sealing film were designed so that they can be used in the oven as well as in the microwave (please note the preparation instructions).

Payment

Which payment methods do you accept?

You can pay via PayPal, credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express), Klarna (purchase on account, direct debit), Giropay (online bank transfer), Apple and Google Pay.

Are my payment details safe?

In order to be able to offer you different payment methods and the highest level of security when paying, we work with Mollie, a secure payment provider. You can find more information about Mollie on their website and in our privacy policy.

How can I redeem my discount code?

You can redeem your discount code in the last step before paying on the order overview. If your discount code is valid, it will be displayed in the order summary and your price will be adjusted accordingly. If you have problems redeeming your discount code, please send us a message and we will take care of it.

Are there any discount promotions?

Yes, after you have ordered your first box, you can benefit from our refer-a-friend program up to 5 times. You will get 20 € discount on your next order for each successful recommendation and your friends will get 20 € discount on their first box. You can find out the terms and conditions directly via your Juit account under "Refer a friend".

Delivery

How and when do you deliver?

We deliver carbon-neutrally – Tuesday to Saturday between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm directly to your doorstep. Our standard shipping is free of charge.

Shipping before 12 p.m. is also available Tuesday to Saturday (see delivery fees when selecting the delivery date).

You can pick delivery day and time with every order. On the day of delivery you will get a one hour delivery window via email by our partner DPD, as well as a link for live tracking your package. If you are unable to accept the package personally, you can use the tracking link to give a permission to deposit your package at a secure place (e.g. in front of your apartment door). Your Juit dishes are kept chilled by the dry ice in the package until the evening of the delivery day.

Your Juit dishes are kept frozen throughout the whole delivery and arrive in sustainable packaging. The cardboard boxes the dishes arrive in can be recycled in the paper trash. To ensure that the dishes arrive frozen, we ship them with dry ice and insulation. For your safety the dry ice (-70° C) is wrapped in paper bags made of recycled paper which you can recycle yourself in the paper trash. We use 100% recycled plastic (PET) for our insulating material. You can then dispose of the material in the yellow bin.

Does someone need to be present for the delivery?

As long as you have not given DPD a deposit permit, yes, since your Juit package will arrive frozen. However, if you are unable to accept the package personally, you can use the tracking link sent to you by DPD via email to give a permission to deposit your package. Your Juit dishes are kept chilled by the dry ice in the package until the evening of the delivery day.

Can I have delivered to a packstation or post office?

No, because your Juit delivery arrives frozen.

Can I change the delivery address and date?

You can change your delivery address for each new order. You have added an incorrect delivery address? Then you can contact our service up to two hours after placing the order and have it changed. 

You can change the delivery date in your Juit account, you will be shown possible alternatives. If you are no longer shown any alternatives, it is also no longer possible to change your delivery date.

Sustainability & Packaging

How sustainable is Juit?

With Juit we want to offer a simple solution to eat healthily and at the same time sustainably, because the well-being of our planet is essential.

This is why we source our ingredients regionally whenever and wherever possible and thus pay attention to the CO2 footprint of our products. The shorter supply chains, the avoidance of middlemen and the direct shipping to your home save packaging and CO2 emissions. 

How much packaging does Juit come in?

We avoid packaging waste as early as the purchasing stage. Because we buy regionally and in bulk. So ingredients are neither repackaged nor repackaged unnecessarily.

Your Juit dishes are in cardboard trays and sealed with a thin film. Compared to traditional plastic trays, this saves us more than 95% plastic. We also use 100% BPA-free materials. But that's not enough for us. We are already working on a tray that is fully compostable.

How do I delete my account?

You can have your account deleted at any time by sending us an informal message. We will then delete your account and your data. Also, see our privacy policy.
